Precious Life was one of the first to sign up for 40 Days for Life Autumn Campaign 2010 - when applications for cities wanting to participate began to be accepted on Wednesday, July 21.

Precious Life will officially launch their 40 Days for Life Campaign for Ireland and UK on 22nd September.

Director of Precious Life, Bernadette Smyth said, "I'm so excited to once again be the local campaign coordinator for 40 Days For Life. Our Lenten Campaign in February and March was an outstanding success. We encouraged more people to join our daily vigils outside the abortion referral agencies in Belfast and Derry.

"As part of the community outreach component of the Campaign, we recruited new young volunteers to distribute information from our Pro-Life Information Table which we set up in towns across Northern Ireland every Saturday."

"I am now starting to organise public meetings and newspaper ads to raise awareness and promote the campaign and get even more people involved this Autumn."

Internationally, the excitement for this Autumn's Campaign is building rapidly. Hundreds of cities across America and around the globe have already expressed interest in participating, including many first-time locations and new countries.

Directors of the Campaign in the USA - David Bereit and Shawn Carney - say early indications lead them to believe that this could be the largest 40 Days for Life campaign ever conducted. They have shot a quick "sneak preview" video to help you get an idea of:
