01 / 08 / 2008 - 85% vote NO to abortion in N. Ireland in online poll
After the announcement of a plan by pro-abortion MPs to extend abortion to Northern Ireland, Ulster Television (UTV) carried out an online poll asking "Do you think abortion should be legalised in Northern Ireland?"
In one of the largest responses to their online polls, UTV received 2450 votes and 240 comments.
The final result was a massive 85% NO vote, with only 15% voting YES.
