Over and over again, the media kept churning out the lie that “abortion is legal in certain circumstances to save a woman's life” Bernadette Smyth has now been vindicated following the statement from the Attorney General - John Larkin QC- regarding the Mare Stopes abortion Clinic in Belfast. [Read Statement here...] The Attorney General - the 'Guardian of the Law' - states very clearly, “Abortion in Northern Ireland is a criminal offence.” Therefore, something that is called "criminal" cannot be called "legal" at the same time. It's a contradiction of terms. In a criminal trial, it's up to a jury to consider if the offence MAY not result in criminality liability. But in no way does this make the crime itself - "legal". There are NO circumstances where the ONLY way for a doctor to protect the life or health of a mother is to deliberately kill her unborn child, so there should be no cases of abortion in Northern Ireland under the law, if it is tightly enforced. Any doctor or health professional who deliberately and intentionally kills an unborn child will face a maximum sentence of life imprisonment. There may be tragic cases when - despite every effort being made to save the child - the child unintentionally dies during life-saving treatment for the mother. But this is not abortion. So the next time you hear or read the lies of the media and pro-abortionists like Marie Stopes or FPA, please phone in to the TV and radio shows, or write to the newspapers, and quote the Attorney General - “Abortion in Northern Ireland is a criminal offence” ..therefore something that is 'criminal' cannot be 'legal' at the same time. ![]() ![]() See also: Precious Life welcome Attorney General's crackdown on Marie Stopes Abortion 'Clinic' |
