Precious Life were invited to hold a “Pro-Life Workshop” at the Crossroads Youth Congress which was held in Co Tyrone on 26th February in preparation for the 50th International Eucharistic Congress.

The vibrant fun-filled event – organised by the Ulster Diocesan youth offices – brought together young people aged 15-25 from all over Ulster to discover their faith through prayer, music, and inspirational talks.

Precious Life’s exciting workshop included talks, discussions, and multimedia presentations and videos on why the pro-life movement in Ireland is something that all young people need to actively get involved in.

Bernadette and Margaret from Precious Life shared with the audience how young people from across Northern Ireland have taken up the challenge to protect unborn children by joining Precious Life Youth.



Kiara from Precious Life Youth talked about how she helps advance the PRO-LIFE REVOLUTION by bringing the pro-life message to the forefront of public attention; travelling to towns and cities across Northern Ireland every Saturday with our Educational ‘Street Outreach’.

Bernadette urged the young people at the Congress not to allow the cry of the little ones to go unheard. The battle against abortion is the greatest human rights issue of our day. The future of the battle to protect Ireland’s unborn children rests upon the younger generation.

She gave them the challenge “if not you, then who? ..if not now, then when?”

We left the young people with the powerful scripture message from Jeremiah 1:7 - "The Lord said, ‘Do not say, ‘I am only a youth’; for to all to whom I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak.’ "

Our day together culminated with Mass, celebrated by His Eminence Séan Cardinal Brady and concelebrated by the Diocesan Bishops and International Eucharistic Congress Diocesan representatives.
