CHOOSE LIFE event tonight (28 Sept) at Belfast City Hall
Dear Friends,
I want to make absolutely clear that the fact that the planned illumination of Belfast City Hall is now on hold does NOT mean our CHOOSE LIFE event has been cancelled.
WE ARE STILL GOING AHEAD AND WE WANT YOU TO BE THERE!
JOIN US TONIGHT - MONDAY 28th SEPTEMBER
Donegall Place, Belfast (opposite Primark)
At 6.15pm we will walk together in a cross-community procession to Belfast City Hall carrying lights, where we will make a powerful and peaceful public witness for the unborn child who has no voice.
THE ABORTION ILLUMINATION MAY BE ON HOLD, BUT OUR WITNESS FOR LIFE IS NOT!
We know that some people have contacted us believing that our event was cancelled because the proposed City Hall illumination has been put on hold.
THIS IS NOT THE CASE.
Our CHOOSE LIFE event is STILL HAPPENING TONIGHT.
In fact, I believe it is more important than ever that we come together and make our voice heard.
The Council's decision to illuminate City Hall may now be on hold while the call-in process and legal issues are considered, but the fundamental issue remains.
We believe Belfast City Hall belongs to everyone.
It should be a civic symbol that unites our community, not a platform for promoting abortion.
And tonight, we have an opportunity to make that message visible.
LET'S LIGHT UP BELFAST FOR LIFE
I want to see as many people as possible gathering at Donegall Place tonight.
Bring your family.
Bring your friends.
And bring your voice.
Together, we will walk to City Hall.
Together, we will stand for the unborn child.
Together, we will make our CHOOSE LIFE message seen and heard.
This is not about whether the lights on City Hall come on tonight.
This is about whether OUR light shines.
And I want Belfast to see it.

The thousands of people who have stood with us throughout this campaign have already made their voices heard. Tonight, we have the opportunity to take that voice directly to Belfast City Hall. We will walk together. We will stand together.And we will shine a light for the unborn child who has no voice.

OUR EVENT IS STILL GOING AHEAD.
OUR WITNESS IS STILL GOING AHEAD.
