Precious Life will mark the one year anniversary of Marie Stopes International setting up their illegal centre in Belfast, with a “Witness for LIfe” on Saturday 19th October. 

It was in October 2012 when the multi-million-pound private organisation arrived here with plans to commit illegal abortions in Northern Ireland. 

Precious Life organised a massive protest outside Marie Stopes office in Great Victoria Street, which was covered by the world's media. 

We produced a video exposing Marie Stopes' admittance of committing illegal abortions all over the world.

The Attorney General for Northern Ireland - the ‘Guardian of the Law’ - stated very clearly, “...Abortion in Northern Ireland is a criminal offence.” 

We also contacted the Committee for Justice of the Northern Ireland Assembly and presented them with evidence about the criminal activities that Marie Stopes were planning in their Belfast Centre. 

As a result of this, Marie Stopes were brought before the Assembly Justice Committee and questioned about the illegality of operating their abortion business in Northern Ireland. However, Marie Stopes FAILED to convince the Justice Committee how they could legally operate an abortion business in Northern Ireland. The Justice Committee are still investigating the Marie Stopes' Centre in Belfast . 

Since the opening of Marie Stopes in Belfast last year, Precious Life's dedicated volunteers have maintained a constant Vigil outside their centre - every day and hour the centre is open. Our peaceful pro-life presence has continued through rain, hail and snow; as we endure harassment from Marie Stopes’ Staff and even the police. 

So please join us for our “Witness for Life on Saturday 19th October and send out a clear message that the people of Ireland - north and south - will not stand idly by and allow Marie Stopes to kill our unborn babies.
