05 / 01 / 2011 - Midwives in fear of speaking out on dangerous side-effects of `Swine Flu` vaccine on unborn babies
Precious Life has condemned the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety (DHSSPS) and Public Health Agency (PHA) for encouraging all pregnant women to get the swine flu vaccine. This vaccine has harmful side effects especially for unborn babies, and midwives have told us that they are in fear of losing their jobs if they speak out.
The PHA and DHSSPS are giving mis-information to the public. Dr Lorraine Doherty of the PHA says that all pregnant women should protect themselves by getting the swine flu vaccine. The Health Minister Michael McGimspey says the vaccine protects unborn babies. This is totally wrong. The swine flu vaccine is not safe or effective protection for anyone, but it is especially dangerous for young children and unborn babies."
There are many reasons for extreme caution. The testing of the vaccine was fast-tracked, so there are absolutely no long-term studies done on its safety. But most disturbing are the list of toxic ingredients in the vaccine. For example - Thimerosal is a preservative in the swine flu vaccine that contains mercury. A study published in Toxicological and Environmental Chemistry in 2009 found that thimerosal is toxic to the cells of an unborn baby.
Pregnant women are told not to eat tuna because it contains high levels of mercury, yet the DHSSPS and PHA say it is acceptable to inject mercury directly into a pregnant woman.
We have been told by a midwife, who is too afraid to reveal her name, that Northern Ireland's chief medical officer Dr Michael McBride, warned all midwifes by written letter that if they spoke out publicly about the dangers of the swine flu vaccine they would lose their jobs."
Media reports this week say three people are in intensive care with swine flu. The DHSSPS are being accused of operating a "code of silence" and not revealing the full information about swine flu in Northern Ireland.
There are serious questions that the DHSSPS and PHA must answer. Did the three people in intensive care receive the swine flu vaccination? Is the 'code of silence' in place to cover up the fact that these people are actually suffering from the side-effects of the vaccine rather than the swine flu. And why are mid-wives being threatened if they say the vaccine is dangerous to pregnant women and their unborn babies? The public deserves to know the truth.
