Precious life held a very successful "Street Information Session" Training Day in Belfast on Saturday 27th November.

The Training Day began in our Office at 12 noon. Our new young volunteers were taught how to persuasively defend life, and how to effectively engage in dialogue with the ultimate goal of changing hearts and minds.

Training Topics included:
- how to deal with the public;
- the questions most often asked and how to respond to them;
- conduct and behaviour on the street;
- legal rights when doing pro-life work on the streets.

At 2.00pm, we went out onto the street for some practical 'hands-on' training.

We had a great response from the public. Hundreds of people busy doing their Christmas shopping stopped to sign our petition, look at our display board, and ask for information. It was really encouraging for our new volunteers to get such an enthusiastic response.

With many roads closed by snow, some of our new volunteers couldn't get to Belfast so we have planned a second "Street Information Session" Training Day for the New Year.
