09 / 03 / 2010 - On International Women`s Day, Precious Life say “Women Deserve Better Than Abortion”
In addition to our Prayer Vigils and Outreach during 40 Days for Life, Precious Life is proactively taking the pro-life message to every corner of the community with a number of Special Events…
Precious Life held a Public Demonstration outside the FPA abortion referral Agency in Belfast to mark International Women’s Day (Monday 8th March).
Up to 20 people took part, holding placards as they lined the pavement along the busy Shaftesbury Square area in the centre of Belfast, from 11am to 3pm. Thousands of people saw the demonstration as they passed in buses and cars, with many 'tooting their horns' to show their support.
While many ‘International Women’s Day’ events are pro-abortion events in disguise our demonstration exposed the devastating physical and emotional harm caused to women by abortion.
Our event sent out the clear message that being ‘pro-women’ demands that we be pro-life.
