22 / 01 / 2010 - March for Life 2010 - one of the most important in history

Today, January 22, 2010 is the 37th anniversary of the landmark Roe vs. Wade decision which legalised abortion on demand in the USA

To mark the anniversary, an estimated 1/4million people are gathering in Washington D.C. to attend what is considered the most attended annual march in the US capitol - the March for Life.

With Congress now meeting to resolve differences between the Senate and House versions of the health care bill -- which includes the Senate version’s massive funding of abortion -- the 2010 March for Life has become one of the most important in history.

The most complete coverage of the March will be on the EWTN satellite channel. The event starts with the Rally for Life and leads to the march up Constitution Avenue in Washington DC. Coverage includes interviews, panel discussions, and speeches from pro-lifers around the US and other countries around the world.

Viewers in Ireland and UK with access to the EWTN channel can watch complete and live coverage beginning at 4.00pm (11.00am US time). EWTN is available on SKY channel 589

The March For Life will also be available to watch live online at www.ewtn.com/tv/
