20 / 11 / 2008 - UCC alumni join with Youth Defence to oppose embryo research
DUBLIN - Graduates of University College Cork (UCC) have contacted Youth Defence regarding the recent decision in UCC regarding embryo research. The former students are looking for support, and wish to work with Youth Defence in their campaign opposing embryo research taking place in UCC. The alumnae are planning to write to every member of UCC’s governing body. Members of Youth Defence are excited to start working with the graduates, spokeswoman of Youth Defence Rebecca Roughneen said “We are really glad to have the UCC graduates on board with us, its going to give a great boost to the campaign.“

We will be continuing the campaign to inform people about embryonic stem cell research, please pray that the motion in UCC will be reversed and if you can spare some time to help out it would be fantastic!
